The EUROPAPA Pulse Oximeter measures the pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2) and pulse rate (PR) through the finger. It is suitable for both professional and home use. With a highly accurate infrared sensor, you can get the result within a matter of seconds. The compact design allows you to fit in your bag or pocket, so your can take it with you and monitor your oxygen level anywhere.
Insert two AAA batteries into the device's battery slot and put the cover back on. Press the button on the front panel once to turn it on. Open the clip, put your middle or index finger between the cushions, and then release the clip. Keep your finger and body stable and read the result. Press the button to change display orientation.
Tips: It is suggested to rest for at least 10-15 mins before checking oxygen level. Do not use coloured nail polish or artificial nail. A normal SpO2 is usually from 95% to 100%. For adults, the normal PR is from 60 to 100 bpm, while children will generally have from 70 to 100 bpm. If your SpO2 reading is lower than 90%, it is best to call your health care provider immediately.
Respiratory diseases such as coronavirus disease are usually associated with reduced lung function, which can lead to a lower oxygen level in the blood.
